Domzale – Siroki Brijeg
Domzale dominated the first leg of this Europa League qualifying tie and were up 2-0 after only 26 minutes, only to concede twice and having to settle for a draw in the end. The Slovenians were no doubt the better team though and should be the clear favorites at Sportni Park tonight.
They are usually very strong at home, have done well in Europe in recent years and should be able to edge out their opponents here.
Siroki Brijeg have lost a couple of really influential players from last season, top scorer Luka Menolo who left for Dinamo Zagreb, being the most notable one. Tonight they are also likely to be without injured midfielder Dino Coric, who didn’t appear in the 1st leg and is likely to miss out again.
As strong as Siroki are at home, they always seem to struggle when they leave the comfort of Pecara Stadium. We believe they will struggle to get anything from this affair.
