Athletic Bilbao vs MSK Zilina
Athletic Bilbao come into tonight’s Europa League tie against MSK Zilina knowing they have to win to go through to the group stage. In the first leg Bilbao grabbed a seemingly comfortable 2-0 lead but eventually lost 3-2 after the Slovaks scored three times in the last 25 minutes. Athletic did however rest some of its stars as the season opener against Barcelona was only three days away. For tonight’s clash coach Ernesto Valverde is expected to line up his strongest eleven, which would include top scorer Aduriz who didn’t take part in the first leg.
MSK Zilina is a strong team and should not be taken lightly. They are undefeated in five league rounds and knocked Ukraine side Vorskla Poltava out of the competition in the last round. They are however, often struggling away from home in Europe, and we can’t really see them getting anything from this game against a strong Athletic side.
