Bohemians – Limerick
Bohemians are looking to increase the gap down to the relegation playoff spot by defeating tonight’s visitors Limerick, the current holders of that dreaded place in the table.
Keith Long’s side put up a good fight against league leaders Dundalk on Sunday, but eventually lost 0-2. Before that the Gypsies easily defeated bottom of the table Bray Wanderers 6-0.
They are boosted by the return of skipper Derek Pander after serving a two match suspension and they also have new signing Ryan Masterson ready to go.
Limerick earned an impressive win against Waterford seven days ago but face several problems ahead of tonight’s game. The visitors will be without suspended duo Eoin Wearen and Kilian Cantwell as well as injured defenders Shane Tracy and Darren Dennehy. That is three key defenders missing which could see Limerick struggle to keep Bohemians at bay.
With key pieces missing in Limerick’s defence we are pretty certain Bohemians will be able to find the back of the net. However, the hosts rarely keep a clean sheet so we wouldn’t be surprised to see Limerick on the scoresheet as well, especially since they have good record against Bohemians.
