Kosovo are just getting stronger and stronger as a football nation and will sooner rather than later qualify for one of the big tournaments. There are plenty of talented players around the world with roots in Kosovo and this is just the beginning.
Their start to UEFA Nations League has been good, with a draw away to Azerbaijan before comfortably defeating Faroe Islands 2-0 at home. They are yet to concede a goal and they definitely don’t lack creative players going forward.
Heerenveen player Arber Zeneli has scored three goals in the last three games for his country and he could be on target once again here.
The feeling was that Malta were closing the gap on some of Europe’s lesser teams a couple of years ago, but now it once again seems to have taken a turn for the worse. They are winless in their last 12 games (9 losses) including a 3-1 defeat away to Faroe Islands just over a month ago.
They only scored 4 times in those 12 outings while conceding a whopping 27, and among the defeats were the rather embarrassing 0-3 at home to Estonia and 0-5 away to Finland.
We think the home side is way to strong here and they should win this by a couple of goals at least.
