Panathinaikos vs Panetolikos

Panathinaikos are looking to close the gap on 2nd place AEK Athens when they take on Panetolikos at Stadio Apóstolos Nikolaidis in their first league game of 2016. The home side haven’t featured in the league since 20 December which has given a few injured players time to get back to fitness. Panathinaikos will not drop many points at home to anyone, last season their home record was 15-1-1 and this season could end up something similar (currently 5-1-1). Only Olympiakos have come here and won and the other dropped points were against 2nd placed AEK.
Team news: Striker Marcus Berg is fit again and is back in the squad but Koutroumbis, Zeca and new signing Boumale are out with suspensions.

Panetolikos lost plenty of key players during the summer and have struggled for consistency this season. They sit 13th in the table, just above the relegation zone, and find it very hard to pick up any points when playing away from home. With only one win in 7 away games they are one of the worst away teams in the league to date and will struggle to come away with anything here.
Team news: The visitors are missing no less than 5 players today as Diego and Danny Becharano, Wouter Corstjens, Stefanos Papoutsougiannopoulos and Sebastian Rusculleda are all out either injured or suspended.
