Ponferradina vs Albacete
Ponferradina are dragged deep into the relegation battle and need to put points on the board in the last three rounds to make sure they avoid the drop. They have an excellent opportunity already tonight as they take on second to bottom Albacete. Ponferradina are just below safety zone, on the same point as Almeria with one game in hand, and could climb above them with a win or a draw tonight. Despite their poor league position (19th) they have actually done very well at home this season, winning 10 and drawing 4 of their 19 games at Estadio El Toralín. They defeated 11th place Lugo 2-1 in their last home game and have four wins and a draw in their last six games at home. Chances should be good for another home win tonight.
Team news: Pablo Infante, Camille and Alvaro Anton are out injured while Alan Baró is suspended.
Albacete’s fate could be sealed already tonight as they will be relegated if Almeria win their game at Llagostera. Even if they should win themselves tonight and Almeria should drop points it would still take somewhat of a miracle for them to stay up. It is their awful away form that has caused them trouble this season, winning only two and losing 13 of their 19 games on the road. Basically without hope we believe they will taste another defeat tonight.
Team news: Javier Paredes is back from his suspension but Victor Curto, Edu Ramos and Cidnocha are out stil out injured.
