Whitehawk vs Truro
After a slow start, Whitehawk are on the rise in the league table thanks to an an excellent run of five wins from their last six league games. There’s been a real positive vibe around the club since Richard Hill took over as manager in September this year and immediately put an end to the failed Brazilian chapter. After taking charge he let seven of the Brazilian players signed in the summer go, while adding several players from his old club Eastleigh. He now has a squad that he’s familiar with and the results are starting to come.
Tonight provides an excellent chance to further climb the ladder as we think the home side are too strong for the visitors here.
Truro City have serious defensive issues this season and have already conceded a massive 40 goals in only 17 games, 19 of which has come in their last 5 league outings. It should be said that they have faced some pretty tough teams of late but there is still something very wrong in the setup of the team or the quality of the players. White Tigers boss Lee Hodges needs to do something drastic to stop the goals from flying in, but what that might be is another story. We don’t believe their turn in fortunes will come tonight.
