Bideford – Redditch
Bideford welcome Redditch to the Sports Ground tonight in a bid to stop the slump which has seen them winless in 11 games in all competitions. Two draws and nine defeats is not exactly a record to be proud of and it’s hard to see where points or even goals will come from at the moment. They were comfortably beaten 1-3 away to St. Neots Town a week ago and sit bottom of the table, 16 points from safety. The only thing really that can be seen as a little advantage for the home side is that their game on Saturday was postponed meaning they get a few more days of rest.
Redditch United are in excellent form at the moment and have won four of their last five games in the league, including an 8-1 trashing of Bedworth. With seven away wins in 15 league outings they are one of the best away sides in the league. It also looks like striker Jazz Luckie and defender Jim Mutton, who both were sent off against King’s Lynn, will be able to play as they are not on FA’s list of suspended players. Against the team with the worst home record (2 wins in 15 games) we believe the visitors will leave with all three points in the bag.
