Bolton vs Brentford

Bolton form has been nothing short of disastrous this season as they sit bottom of the table with only 11 point from the first 17 rounds. The home side have only won once all season and is a club in severe financial difficulties. The club actually announced in a statement today that players are yet to receive their wages. The financial situation also restricted manager Neil Lennon from bringing in new faces on loan and with Wellington Silva, Dean Moxey and Zach Clough all out injured, things are not looking too bright. Steven Dobbie is also a doubt and will be tested before kick-off.

Brentford started the season poorly but have hit form recently and have five wins and one draw in their last seven Championship matches. Midfielder Alan Judge has been instrumental in the turn around fortunes as have interim boss Lee Carsley. Brentford have announced that Dean Smith will be their new boss as Carsley early on made it clear he didn’t want the job on a full time basis. He will however remain in charge over tonight’s game. We believe that Brentford will do their best to give Carsley a nice farewell present (even though he will actually stay in the club in some form).
