Elfsborg vs Hammarby
Elfsborg lost their first game of the season away to Häcken 2-1. The result didn’t reflect the game though as Elfsborg dominated throughout and created a bunch of clear cut chances. They were unable to convert though until Adam Lundqvist scored in the 88th minute. Returning boss Magnus Hedlund was happy with his team’s performance and described the defeat as “cruel”. Elfsborg usually do very well at Borås Arena where they only lost once last season and won 10 out of 15 games. We believe they are likely to claim all three points here.

Hammarby had a difficult first game of the season against newly promoted Östersund. A 1-1 draw and poor football weren’t what they were hoping for. Even though it’s early days, Hammarby could be in for a difficult season as things don’t look to have improved from last year when they ended 11th in the table. They need rapid improvement if they are to claim any points tonight.
