Wacker Nordhausen vs FC Schönberg
Wacker Nordhausen still have an outside chance of claiming the Regionalliga Nordost title and gaining promotion to 3. Liga. They currently sit third in the table, seven points behind table toppers Zwickau, with eight games to play of the season. Home form has been good all season and they are still undefeated at Albert-Kuntz-Sportpark after 13 rounds. The 0-0 draw away to 5th placed Carl Zeiss Jena in the last round was a decent result but from now on only victories count and a home game against 10th placed FC Schönberg is a must win.
Team news: Defender Sascha Herröder is out injured and there are a few other doubts that will be tested late.
Newcomers FC Schönberg have experienced a pretty tough first season in the Regionalliga but have done quite well to climb up to 10th in the table. Wins against lowly Optik Rathenow and Luckenwalde have eased their fears of relegation but with only two points down to Meueselwitz in 14th they definitely have to win a few more games before the end of the season. They do have the top scorer in the division, Henry Haufe (14 goals), but if he’s not on his game they will struggle against any team in this league.
Team news: Defender Maximilian Rausch received his 10th yellow card in the win against Luckenwalde and is suspended here.
