Falkenbergs FF – IFK Norrköping
Falkenberg have been tipped for relegation ever since they were promoted to the Swedish top tier two seasons ago. Somehow they have managed to stay in the division even though they needed play-off to do it at the end of last season. This might be the season when they eventually go down though because the start of the season have been nothing short of awful. They have lost all four league games in which they have conceded 12 goals while only scoring twice. Falkenberg boss Hans Eklund really has a job on his hands if he is to turn this around but we don’t believe there is anything saving Falkenberg this time.
Team news: New striker Lord Ofosuhene has finally got his work permit approved and will be included in the squad.
IFK Norrköping were the surprise winners of Allsvenskan last season and were able to keep most of their players away from European suitors during off-season. The early signs this season seem to prove that last season wasn’t a fluke and they have won three of their four league games in impressive fashion. They have already score 11 goals despite missing last season’s top scorer Emir Kujovic in the last game, a 4-1 trashing of AIK. With the right mindset, this should be an easy win.
Team news: Emir Kujovic, Niklas Bärkroth, Marcus Falk Olander and Eric Smith are still missing.
