Hødd – Nardo
Hødd are in blistering form at the moment and have five wins and a draw in their last six league outings. In fact they haven’t tasted defeat in the league since April and now sit second in the table with a chance to go top with a win today. The 2-0 win away against top team Kjelsås last week was really impressive, and the team from Ulsteinvik look more or less unstoppable at the moment.
It’s however still pretty tight at the top of the table so Hødd can’t afford to let the foot off the gas. They should have an excellent opportunity to extend winning streak when lowly Nardo comes for a visit to Høddvoll this afternoon. The home side is further strengthened by the fact that influential midfielder Marius Hagen is back after missing the game against Kjelsås through suspension.
Hødd always perform well on their artificial turf and are still undefeated at home this season.
Nardo have struggled this season and sit second bottom in the table having only picked up 11 points from 12 league games so far this season. Their away form has been especially disappointing, and four defeats in six away games this season is far from impressive.
The visitors have conceded 14 goals in six away games this season and their leaky defence could get really punished tonight. With that said they are usually sneak a goal or two in and have scored in four of their last five games on the road.
