Hull vs Reading
Hull got back to winning ways when they defeated Bolton 1-0 on the weekend after two straight losses. They are fourth in the table and can close the gap on league leaders Middlesbrough to two points with a win against Reading tonight. Hull have been very solid at the KC Stadium where they have seven wins and two draws in 10 outing, including four wins in their last five. Manager Steve Bruce is boosted by the news that Abel Hernandez is back in contention after his hamstring problems. Hernandez missed the last two league games but has returned to full training and will definitely be in the squad tonight. Michael Dawson and Alex Bruce are out injured.
Reading are in poor form at the moment and have only won once in their last 9 league outings, including three straight losses. The poor performances lead to the sacking of manager Steve Clarke and Martin Kuhl is now at the helm on an interim basis. They have lost four away games in a row and the performance at Preston on Saturday was not the encouraging kind. Stephen Quinn and Aaron Tshibola will be missing tonight due to injuries.
It is likely to be a close game but in Abel Hernandez and Chuba Akpom, Hull have real match winners. Don’t be surprised if one of the two snatches it in the end for the home side.
