Karlskrona vs Nybro
Tipped as one of the favorites to claim the Swedish division 2 Södra Götaland title, Karlskrona are living up to the expectations so far, if only three games into the season. On Saturday they went to Malmö and trashed IFK Malmö 6-0, a game which they controlled from the first kick until the final whistle. That was also the second game in a row were Karlskrona fired 25 shots or more towards the opponent’s goal. Impressive stuff and the win on Saturday took them to the summit of the table with seven points from the first three league games. Based on the performances so far this season Karlskrona will definitely up there fighting for the title and we believe they are far superior team tonight.
Nybro are new to division 2 and will likely have to fight hard to stay in the division. After a start with two draws and a loss they sit second bottom of the table with two points. Even worse yet is that a couple of their absolute key players were injured in the loss to Kvarnby (0-3) in the last round, a game in which they were soundly defeated. The two, striker Juan Gomez and playmaker Razgar Eliassi, will both miss tonight’s game, a huge blow for the visitors. We’ll be surprised if they get anything from this game.
