Middlesbrough vs Bristol City
Middlesbrough have set their sights on promotion to the Premier League this season and the start of the season seems to match that ambition. They are undefeated in three league outings and even though they have only picked up one win (3-0 at home to Bolton) the draws have been away to tough opposition in Preston and Derby. Manager Aitor Karanka has splashed the cash during the summer bringing in David Nugent (Leicester), Christhian Stuani (Espanyol) and Stuart Downning (West Ham) among others. Stuani and Nugent are yet to start a Championship game and might struggle to get past Kike and loan signing Diego Fabbrini into the starting eleven. Kike is already on 3 goals this season and is now looking more confident in the league than the previous year. At home to lowly Bristol City only three points will be good enough.
Bristol City have found life in the Championship tough and have only picked up a single points after three league rounds. Coach Steve Cotterill have had limited resources in the summer and have struggled in the transfer market. A relegation batle this season is to be expected.
