Schwechat vs Sollenau
Schwechat have started Austrian Regionalliga East well with two wins out of three, only losing to league leaders Horn. In tonight’s North East derby against Sollenau hopes are high for another three points. Both teams have had total revamps of their squads in recent years and for the home side things are starting to look increasingly better. They were able to do some good business during the summer, including bringing in midfielder Karim Sallam who has already got on the scoresheet three times in only 270 minutes of play.
For Sollenau things are looking worse with plenty of influential players leaving during the summer without proper replacements. They were dealt another blow this week when midfielder Alexander Egger announced he’ll be moving to Salzburg for medical studies and will no longer be available for selection. The Sollenau squad is young and inexperienced and it will most likely take a few more weeks before they get things sorted.
