Milwall vs Crewe

Millwall boss Neil Harris could name an unchanged starting eleven for the third time in a row when the Lions welcome Crewe Alexandra to the Den this afternoon. The home side have been in excellent form lately and now sit 6th in the table, occupying the last promotion playoff spot. With three straight league wins in a row confidence is now back and top scorer Lee Gregory looks sharper than in a while and has scored four goals in his last three. We believe Millwall are likely to extend their their winning streak here.

Team news: Harris has almost a fully fit squad at his disposal, Tony Craig being the only absentee. Defender Carlos Edwards is a doubt and might not make the squad quite yet.

Crewe travel to the Den winless in seven league games in row and were completely outplayed against Bury last week. They didn’t manage a single shot on goal over the 90 minutes but somehow still managed to pick up a point. The performance was definitely not up to standards though and they now sit 23rd in the table with 7 points to safety and almost need a miracle to stay in the division. With plenty of people still out we give them little chance of getting anything from today’s trip to the capital.

Team news: Crewe are without centre-backs Harris Davis and George Ray as well as striker Lauri Dalla Valle and midfielders Billy Bingham and Ryan Wintle. Liverpool have also recalled Harry Wilson from a loan. On top of that they lost top scorer Ryan Colclough to Wigan this week and have replaced him with 19-year old Ryan Seager who joins on loan from Southampton.
