Sevilla vs Mirandes
Sevilla take on Segunda team Mirandes in a quarter final clash in Spanish Copa del Rey tonight. The home side have done exceptionally well in the cup so far and were very impressive when they ended Real Betis hopes of cup glory with a 6-0 aggregate win in the last round. They have been scoring goals for fun lately and look to build on that with a very strong squad ready to take on Mirandes. They are only 7th in the table and the cup could actually be the easiest way out in Europe this season.
Team news: Sevilla boss Unai Emery is bringing his strongest possible squad, missing only injured duo Sebastian Cristoforo and Adil Rami.
Mirandes head into tonight’s game on the back of a very disappointing 0-4 loss to Leganes in the league. Before that they knocked both Deportivo La Coruna and Malaga out of the cup, but we believe it will be much tougher tonight against a full strength home side. Mirandes problem so far this season has been conceding too many goals away from home, even though they almost always seem to be able to get on the scoresheet themselves. It could well be a similar story tonight.
