Smedby vs Motala
Smedby are back in division 2 after a making their stay in division 3 only one season long. They will surely have a tough time back though and are tipped by the bookies to struggle to survive alongside Värmbols FC, Konyaspor and Vimmerby. The season opener didn’t give the answers they were hoping for as they were comfortably beaten 3-1 away to one of their fellow relegation contenders Värmbols FC. Tonight they take on Motala AIF, which beforehand should be a much tougher task and we believe the home side will do well to get anything from the match.
Motala made an excellent start to life in division 2 after being relegated from division 1 last season. New signing Esat Jashari, who scored an impressive 14 goals in the team’s pre-season games, showed that he can deliver also when it comes to league play. The striker scored a brace in Motala’s comprehensive 3-0 win over Södertälje on Saturday and showed he will definitely be a big asset for the club this season. Overall Motala have a strong squad and have made some very good signings which no doubt will make them a team challenging for the top spots this season. We believe they will claim all three points here.
