Weymouth vs Stratford Town
Weymouth are hoping for back-to-back wins when they take on Stratford Town today in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division. The home side got back to winning ways when they defeated 4th place Redditch last Saturday. That was their first win in five matches after a rough period which included three defeats and a draw. They still have a chance of clinching one of the promotion playoff spots but desperately need to continue putting points on the board if that is to become a reality.
Team news: Weyouth have added Southampton youngster Kyle Clinton to their ranks and both Chris Shephard and Luke Winsper could be back in the squad. Jake Wannell is a doubt due to illness.
Stratford Town are pretty much awful at the moment and are on a eight match winless streak including including five defeats. They did manage a 0-0 draw at home to Bideford a week ago, but a point against hopeless bottom of the table teams is not much to write home about. Away from home they have four straight defeats and are now in danger of getting dragged into a relegation battle. We don’t really see them turning their fortunes around this afternoon.
