Ajax vs Celtic
Ajax were surprisingly knocked out in the Champions League qualifier by Austrian side Rapid Wien. Since then, they have gone on a seven games unbeaten run in all competition, picking up four wins and a draw in five league games. 20-year old striker Anwar El Ghazi has been firing on all cylinders this season and has already scored six times in only five starts. Ajax boss Frank de Boer will have to do without defender John Hetinga and striker Yaya Sanogo, both injured, as well as Riechedly Bazoer who is suspended. De Boer is hopeful that his side can continue their strong start of the season in which they already have scored 14 goals while only conceding two.
Celtic fans are growing increasingly disillusioned with the leadership of Norwegian coach Ronny Deila. After crashing out in the Champions League qualifiers to Swedish side Malmö FF, their bad form continued on the weekend when they lost away to Aberdeen, who they now trail five points in the league. Deila was quick to criticise his defence after the loss and he does have a problem in the back four, especially after losing Virgil van Dijk to Southampton during the transfer window. Tonight they also missing experienced Charlie Mulgrew, who is out with a thigh injury.
Celtic have struggled away from in Europe and we believe they are on the course for another loss tonight.
