Chelsea vs Dynamo Kiev
After last season we didn’t think we were going to see José Mourinho under any kind of pressure come November. His Chelsea have however not been up to standards this season by any stretch of the imagination and have already lost six games in only 11 league outings. They have fared only slightly better in the Champions League, but sitting third in the group after three rounds is still far below expectations. Tonight they face second placed Dynamo Kiev in what feels like a must win game and where Chelsea will overtake their opponents with a win. Thibaut Courtois and Falcao are out injured but both Pedro and Branislav Ivanovic trained the with the group yesterday and could be included in the starting eleven. Chelsea have only lost one in nine home games in the Champions League and will hope to build on that record despite all troubles this season.
Dynamo Kiev are doing well both domestically (joint leaders) and in Europe, where they are undefeated after draws against Porto and Chelsea and a win against Maccabi Tel Aviv. They have however struggled away from home against Premier League opposition, with only one draw and seven losses in their eight encounters on English soil. In six of those they failed to score, so we know that the Ukrainians will have to be at their very best to get anything from this game.
With Mourinho with his back against the wall we believe he will pull something out of his hat and help his team to sneak a win tonight.
