Leamington vs Stratford Town
Leamington are undefeated in four straight league games and are firmly back in the race for a promotion play-off spot. Despite coming back from a 0-1 deficit to grab a point at home to King’s Lynn Town on the weekend, Leamington will be a little disappointed not to have picked up all three points. The home side were dominating most of the 90 minutes, especially the first 45, without being able to convert. Top scorer Ben Mackey started on the bench but came on and scored the equalizer after replacing Rob Ogleby who was forced off with a thigh injury. Mackey is almost certain to get the nod tonight along with recent signings Courtney Baker-Richardson and Sam Austin, who both have started well for the club.
Stratford Town are not doing well at the moment and have only managed a single point from their last five league games. Their 0-3 home defeat to Merthyr Town a week ago was probably the low point of the season but they did look much improved at Chippenham on Saturday (1-2 loss). We still believe they will struggle against a home side with new found form.
