Worcester vs Southport
Worcester made a poor start to the season but have really improved lately and now have four wins and a draw in their last six league games in all competitions. They have three straight home wins and have really found some home comfort at Aggborough Stadium. Tonight they face Southport in the FA Trophy 1st round replay. The first leg ended in a 0-0 draw with Southport being on top and creating most of the chances. Worcester however were happy to come away with the draw and get the replay, as they are much stronger at home than away. They have knocked Coventry City, Gateshead and Solihull Moors out of the competition in the past two seasons so there is definitely a chance they might win and proceed to the next round here.
Southport made an awful start to the season and only won once in their 13 first league games. Recently though they have improved considerably and the goals have started flowing. In their last league game they ran out 5-3 winners against Bromley and they were also the better team in the first leg against Worcester. We don’t think it will be another stalemate here and see goals at both ends of the pitch.
